Evomon Treasure Chest Locations by Zone
✎ Observed (cross-referenced)Hidden treasure chests are scattered across nearly every island in Evomon, and this log records all 64 locations the community has documented so far: 28 Gold, 28 Mythic, and 8 Legendary chests over 16 zones. Directions are given the way a chest-hunter navigates — from your spawn or teleport-in point, the world boss arena, and landmarks like NPCs, archways, and the tallest climbable peak. These positions come from community expedition reports rather than an official source; we keep every documented spot and flag what remains unverified.
Chest Tiers and How to Read This Log ✎ Observed (cross-referenced)
Chests appear in three observed tiers. Gold is the common find — 28 are logged, usually tucked behind a tree or boulder at ground level. Mythic chests, also 28 strong, usually demand a climb, a detour behind the world boss, or a hop to a detached islet. Legendary chests are the scarce prize: only 8 are documented, and only eight zones hold one. Per-tier loot is not recorded chest-by-chest in our sources, so we won't invent tables — but chests are one of the three documented supply lines for element Evolution Stones, alongside shops and redeem codes.
Two honest caveats. Respawn behavior is undocumented — our sources don't record whether an opened chest returns on a timer, so test a spot yourself before relying on it. And since the islands have no coordinates a guide can cite, directions key off fixed reference points: your arrival position, the world boss arena, gym leaders, and named landmarks. "Look behind you" means from the moment you arrive, before you move.
Verdant Valley and Petal Pond ✎ Observed (cross-referenced)
Verdant Valley holds six chests, the densest early haul documented. The first Gold is nearly handed to you: finish the tutorial and it sits directly in front of you. From your spawn point, turn around to find a small archway of roots sheltering a Mythic. A second Gold lies straight ahead of your spawn facing, up a small hill; just below those hills, another Mythic hides behind one of the trees. The harder finds: a Mythic off the back of the island in its own detached rocky patch, and the zone's Legendary, up the rocky mountain beside the world boss — the one marked by a giant tree.
Petal Pond carries three. The Gold is behind you the moment you teleport in, near the small piles of rock. On the right side, a narrow pathway climbs to a small raised area — scale that small mountain for the first Mythic. The second Mythic sits behind the world boss, across a small gap of water on a separated islet, tucked behind the small mountain there.
Lava Crag and Amber Acres ✎ Observed (cross-referenced)
Lava Crag hides six chests, four of them Gold. One sits near a small rocky outcrop with lava flowing over it, beside an NPC — a narrow path leads behind the small rock. Another is on the left: circle behind the largest rocky mountain standing detached from the rest. A third waits near the island's middle, next to an NPC by a tree, and the fourth hides behind a tree near spawn. The Mythic tops a small rocky mountain near the world boss, and the Legendary is the summit prize — the single tallest rocky mountain on the right side, chest at its very peak.
Amber Acres also holds six. Three Golds: behind a curved boulder on a small rocky hill near the water, right side; atop the highest rocky mountain on that same side; and, facing the world boss, down to the left where the grass grows. Two Mythics: facing the boss, off to the right on a small orange patch of rocky terrain, and near spawn behind a small curved rock. The Legendary sits behind the tree at the world boss's own position — hiding in plain sight.
Autumn Hills, Shiver Snows, and Flying Territory ✎ Observed (cross-referenced)
A naming note: Autumn Hills and Flying Territory come from community chest reports and sit outside the core list on our Map Zones page — plausible, since the map runs to 20 zones, but treat the names as community shorthand. Autumn Hills holds four, keyed to a gym leader rather than a world boss. The Gold hides behind a small tree on the pathway up to that leader. Its three Mythics: an isolated small rocky cliff on the left; behind the big tree standing behind the gym leader; and at the top of the right side, where an orange patch marks the climb.
Shiver Snows is Gold-heavy with four. From spawn, one sits directly ahead and another behind you — turn around, find the closest isolated rocky islet, and slip behind it. A third rocky islet off the back of the island holds another when climbed, and the last waits by a tree near the world boss. The Legendary demands the tallest snowy mountain on the left side. Flying Territory has one documented chest, but it's a Legendary: find the small rocky cliff with a huge tree growing from it and check its rear, lower face.
Raven Ridge and Crystal Cascade ✎ Observed (cross-referenced)
Raven Ridge's five chests exploit its floating-island terrain. The lone Gold is central, beside a giant floating rock. Of the three Mythics, one rests on a floating rock among the cluster of small floating islands to the right; one occupies the separated island near the main island's left side, close to the pair of mountains; and one sits beneath the archway of giant roots on the left. The Legendary grows with the scenery, found on the root sprouting from one of the small right-side floating islands.
Crystal Cascade is the most Mythic-dense zone logged — four Mythics to one Gold — and everything keys off the world boss arena. Facing the boss, the Gold is to your left, the first Mythic to your right. Just before the boss area, a small path climbs the left side of the cliff to a second Mythic. For the third, look up: from the boss's right side, scan the edge of one of the pointed cliffs overhead. The fourth is a real ascent — the tallest snowy mountain on the right, chest at the top.
Silent Sands, Canyon Oasis, and Dusk Town ✎ Observed (cross-referenced)
Silent Sands splits its four chests evenly. Both Golds are easy pickups: one atop a rock formation near the world boss and its archway, the other beside the campfire in the spawn area. The Mythics take more work — one crowns a rock formation near the Equip dungeon; for the other, turn around at spawn and descend the small rocky area marked by a tree. Canyon Oasis also holds four. One Gold sits on a small body of rock at the zone's archway; the second tops the biggest, widest rocky mountain. One Mythic hides behind the world boss — climb the mountain, get behind the rock formation, and look near the cactus. For the other, turn around on arrival: a cliff faces you — the chest waits behind the first rock inside.
Dusk Town is the lightest haul, with two. From spawn, head right and drop down to a group of boulders for the Gold. The Mythic is on the left side, behind the NPC's rocky platform — you'll need to gain height in that direction to reach it.
Murkwood, Nether Land, Rocky Ridge, and Thunder Cliffs ✎ Observed (cross-referenced)
Murkwood's three chests all trade on dense cover. The Gold hides behind the tree standing behind the world boss; for the Mythic, pass under the archway on arrival and climb the small mountain on the left. The Legendary is this log's best-hidden chest, buried behind a tree's large roots and a few bushes near the NPC at the back of the island. Nether Land carries four: a Gold behind the big roots on the left as you arrive; a second Gold in the gap between the island's two mountains; a Mythic atop the second-largest mountain on the left; and a Mythic on the right (facing forward from arrival), behind the giant root growing out of a small mountain.
Rocky Ridge leans on skeleton scenery. One Gold is simply behind you on arrival; the other lies along the pathway where an NPC waits midway. Look left from arrival to spot the skeleton's hand — a Mythic sits there — and a second Mythic waits on the path to the world boss, near the skeleton trapped in the ground. Thunder Cliffs (another community-reported name) closes the log: a Gold at the small rock formation behind your arrival point, and a Legendary behind the huge rocky mountain on the right.
Frequently asked questions
How many treasure chests are there in Evomon?
Community reports currently document 64 chests across 16 zones: 28 Gold, 28 Mythic, and 8 Legendary. That's a floor, not a ceiling — the game updates frequently and hunters keep finding new spots, so undocumented chests may well exist beyond this log.
What do treasure chests contain?
Per-chest loot is not documented in our sources, so we won't guess at tables. What is documented: chests are one of three supply lines for element Evolution Stones, alongside shops and redeem codes — see our Items page for the stone list and which evolutions each covers.
Do chests respawn after you open them?
Unknown. None of our community sources record whether an opened chest returns on a timer or stays claimed permanently. Until that's verified, plan your route as if each chest were a one-time pickup, and treat any repeat find as a bonus rather than a farmable loop.
Which zones have a Legendary chest?
Eight zones hold one: Verdant Valley (mountain by the world boss), Lava Crag (tallest right-side peak), Amber Acres (behind the boss's tree), Shiver Snows (tallest snowy mountain), Flying Territory (the huge-tree cliff), Raven Ridge (right-side floating-island root), Murkwood (roots near the rear NPC), and Thunder Cliffs (behind the huge right-side mountain).
