Specimen #002 in the Evomon Dex, Bubboxer is the middle stage of the Water starter line — the evolved form of Bubble and the pre-evolution of Bubblade. You will not encounter one in the wild: the only documented way to add Bubboxer to your roster is to evolve a Bubble taken from the Starter Zone. Its community-verified base stats total 369, led by a 66 Special Attack, and like every revealed Evomon it caps at level 90 and carries the standard SSS rarity tag. This specimen also has an EM slot.

Field Notes ✎ Observed (cross-referenced)

The in-game description records a fighter's temperament: Bubble's evolved form is "quick and bold," wraps itself in a cool water scarf, and "punches with controlled splashes." The boxing motif is not decoration — the same entry notes that Bubboxer trains daily to master its strength, "never wasting a single drop," which reads as a creature that treats water the way an athlete treats energy: rationed, directed, deliberate.

On paper it carries the standard revealed-roster tags — rarity SSS, community rank E, any-weather spawn (a moot field, since it never spawns wild) — and, more usefully, an EM slot. As a pure Water type in Evomon's fifteen-element system, it occupies the classic Water niche with no second element complicating its matchups.

Base Stats & Battle Role ✎ Observed (cross-referenced)

Bubboxer's community-verified base stats: 64 HP, 61 Attack, 59 Defense, 66 Special Attack, 60 Special Defense, 59 Speed — a total of 369. For a supposed boxer, the numbers lean slightly special: Special Attack is its best stat, with everything else clustered between 59 and 64. Read that as a balanced mid-stage line-carrier rather than a specialist.

Offensively, its Water attacks are strong against Fire, Ground, and Rock types; defensively it resists Fire and Steel but takes super-effective damage from Grass and Electric. At a 369 total it is a bridge, not a destination — it holds a team slot until you can evolve it onward to Bubblade, whose stat total is substantially higher. Consult the Type Chart and Team Builder before committing a permanent roster spot, and remember that natures and talent grades shift any individual capture's final numbers.

Evolution & Where to Find ✎ Observed (cross-referenced)

Bubboxer's catch location is listed simply as "Evolution": it does not appear in any of the map zones, so the only route runs through its pre-evolution. Bubble, the Water starter, is picked up in the Starter Zone; evolving it yields Bubboxer, and evolving again produces Bubblade, the line's final form. Water Element Stones are the documented method for Water-type evolutions, and stones are sourced from shops, chests, and redeem codes — 13 codes are active as of this writing, redeemed via the in-game Settings gear icon and case-sensitive.

Because Bubboxer never spawns, no catch rate applies to it directly; the Advance Ball's 100% catch rate matters only for securing the Bubble underneath it.

Frequently asked questions

How do you get Bubboxer in Evomon?

Bubboxer cannot be caught in the wild — its location is documented as evolution only. Catch a Bubble in the Starter Zone (it is one of the three starters, alongside Blazpup and Leafbun) and evolve it. Water Element Stones are the documented method for Water-type evolutions, and stones come from shops, chests, and redeem codes.

What are Bubboxer's base stats?

Community-verified figures: 64 HP, 61 Attack, 59 Defense, 66 Special Attack, 60 Special Defense, 59 Speed, for a 369 total. Special Attack is its best stat by a small margin, so despite the boxing theme it hits marginally harder with special Water moves. Natures and talent grades will shift the final numbers on any individual capture.

What is Bubboxer weak against?

As a pure Water type, Bubboxer takes super-effective damage from Grass and Electric attacks; its documented resistances are Fire and Steel. Offensively, its Water moves are strong against Fire, Ground, and Rock types. In practice, lead it into Fire matchups — where it both resists and hits super-effectively — and switch it out against Grass and Electric opponents.
