The plume is the identifying feature: a crest with the look of frosted glass, catching light the way rime does on a cold window. Frostlet is a compact snow-bird, and its one documented behavioral quirk is worth logging twice — it chirps out little puffs of cold air when it is happy, and produces the identical puff when it is aiming. Handlers are advised to learn the difference the easy way, from a distance.

On paper it carries the standard revealed-creature profile: rarity SSS, community rank E, spawns in any weather, and a maximum level of 90. It has no EM slot. As a pure Ice type with no second element, its defensive ledger is short and honest — it resists Water and Ice, and nothing else softens the blow.

Frostlet's community-verified base stats total 368: 60 HP, 57 Attack, 53 Defense, 66 Special Attack, 62 Special Defense, and 70 Speed. The spread tilts clearly toward the special side and toward moving first — Speed is its best number, Special Attack its second, while Defense (53) is the thinnest plate on the specimen. Treat it as an early-line special attacker that would rather strike before it is struck.

The Ice typing does the tactical work. Frostlet hits Grass, Ground, Flying, and Dragon types super-effectively — a notably useful list — while resisting Water and Ice. The bill comes due against Fire, Fighting, Rock, and Steel, all of which hit it hard, and none of which its 53 Defense is eager to meet. Slot it where its four strong matchups appear; rotate it out when they do not. Consult the Type Chart before committing it to anything armored.

Acquisition is unusually straightforward for this Dex. Frostlet comes from the starter pack, or can be found in the wild around Crystal Cascade — a fitting habitat for a bird wearing frosted glass — in any weather, so there is no waiting on conditions. For wild attempts, an Advance Ball guarantees the catch at a 100% rate; standard-ball catch rates for Frostlet are not separately documented.

It evolves once, into Frostseer, and the method is documented: an Ice Element Stone, the stone used across Ice-type lines. Element stones turn up in shops, in chests, and via redeem codes, so a spare is rarely far away — check the current codes list if your satchel is empty. Frostseer itself is obtainable only by this evolution; the field does not report wild sightings of the evolved form.
