The journal's first note on Gempress reads like an apology to Gempillar. The larva that polished its gold-and-lapis shell against the sandstone of Canyon Oasis emerges as a moth empress: ivory wings, a crown of blades, and a habit of scattering scale-dust that glitters like crushed gems in the moonlight. The Dex description casts her as a ruler of the canyon nights, though no observer has yet filed a documented wild sighting — her location field still reads Unknown in the current records.

Two administrative details are certain from the catalogue: she carries an EM slot, and her entry follows the standard template of every revealed Evomon — weather listed as Any, community rank E, level cap 90. Everything beyond that awaits more fieldwork, and this page will say so plainly rather than embroider.

Honesty first: Gempress is one of the 17 revealed Evomon whose base stats have not yet been community-verified, so this page prints no numbers rather than placeholder ones. What typing alone tells us is still useful. As a pure Bug-type she strikes Grass and Psychic targets for super-effective damage, resists incoming Water, Grass, and Fighting moves, and should be pulled from the field the moment Fire or Flying attackers appear — both exploit her weakness.

Her pre-evolution Gempillar does have a verified spread, and it leans toward Special Attack and Speed, which suggests — suggests, not confirms — a fast special attacker once evolved. The EM slot adds a layer of equipment flexibility her slotless peers lack. Gempillar, Dex #64, is caught in Canyon Oasis and evolves into Gempress with a Bug Element Stone — the Gempillar–Gempress line is explicitly named among that stone's documented uses. Element stones come from shops, chests, and redeem codes; thirteen codes are active as of this writing, redeemed through the Settings gear icon in-game, and they are case-sensitive, so copy them exactly.

Gempress herself lists no wild catch location — the records read Unknown — so evolution is currently the only reliable acquisition method.
