The in-game entry describes a horned mystic wrapped in ribbons of living shadow, and the observed behaviour matches the silhouette: Wisphex lays slow, patient hexes, and by the time the target notices the curse, the caster has already drifted on. It is an unhurried hunter by temperament and a very hurried one by stat sheet — a contradiction this journal finds entirely in character for a Poison/Psychic ghost-of-the-line.

Its family history is short and well documented. Wispuff, the base stage (Dex #82), spawns in Nether Land; Wisphade (#83) and Wisphex itself are both marked 'Via Evo', meaning neither appears in the wild. The whole line shares the same Poison/Psychic dual typing from the first stage onward, so a trainer knows exactly what matchup profile they are raising toward. Like every revealed Evomon, it is catalogued at rarity SSS and rank E, spawns under any weather (where it spawns at all), and caps at level 90.

Wisphex's community-verified base stats total 510: 74 HP, 86 Attack, 78 Defense, 95 Special Attack, 68 Special Defense, and 109 Speed. The distribution reads cleanly as a fast special attacker — Speed is the standout number, Special Attack is its best offensive stat, and the 86 Attack is respectable enough that physical Poison or Psychic moves are not wasted on it. The trade-off sits on the defensive side: 74 HP and 68 Special Defense make it the frailest where fast attackers are usually punished, so it wants to strike first and leave, exactly as its Dex entry suggests.

By typing, it hits Grass, Fighting, Poison, Flying, and Dragon types hard, while Ground, Psychic, and Rock give it trouble; it resists incoming Grass and Fighting attacks. In practice that makes Wisphex a strong answer to Grass and Fighting teams and a liability against Ground coverage. It carries an EM slot, and as with any capture, its final numbers depend on the Talent grade rolled (C at 40% quality up to SSS at 100%) and its Nature, which shifts one stat +10% and another -10% — worth rerolling toward Speed or Special Attack on a keeper.

Wisphex has no documented wild spawn — its catch location is listed as 'Via Evo', which in Evomon's ledger means evolution is the only way in. The full route: catch a Wispuff in Nether Land, evolve it into Wisphade, then evolve Wisphade into Wisphex. Both steps of the Wispuff–Wisphade–Wisphex line are documented Psychic Element Stone evolutions, so budget two stones for the full climb. Element stones come from shops, chests, and redeem codes, and the rarer Omni-Stone serves as a universal substitute.

For the Wispuff capture itself, standard catching rules apply: any weather, and an Advance Ball guarantees the catch at a 100% rate if you would rather not gamble on a Nether Land spawn twice. Since Traits (rolled at Normal 6.5%, Rare 2.7%, Legendary 1.5%) and Talent grade are set at capture and carried through evolution, discerning trainers vet their Wispuff before spending stones on it. Wisphex is the end of the line — it has no further evolution recorded.
